I have the best parents. I KNOW I've been blessed because of it. I KNOW that good parents are a great blessing. I love that they play with my daughters and LOVE my daughters. And... I love that my daughters LOVE them right back.

Having great parents is a blessing. One of the best the Lord can give.

I love having a temple so close and accessible.

I'm grateful for the truths learned in the temple

and for the service I am able to give there.

I'm going to attend the temple this week to show my gratitude...

I'm grateful to be given two beautiful daughters who are

healthy and developing normally.

Tagen got her first tooth yesterday. You can see it

peeking out of her gums.

It's amazing to think about all the small details in the

grand design of the human body.

I'm grateful to have a healthy working body that

Heavenly Father created for me.

Are you Happy?

"The Lord does not say, 'Be of good cheer if the temperature is comfortable, if you're getting along well economically, if the people you love, love you, if you're in good health, or if your 'bio-rhythms' are up.' The Lord said that we should "Be of Good Cheer." It is not a suggestion, it is a commandment. There is a direct cause-and-effect relationship between being cheerful and reaping the richest spiritual blessings."

I'm going to make a conscious decision to CHOOSE to be happy today. To find opportunities where I can CHOOSE to make happiness my reaction. The Lord has told us to "Be of Good Cheer." I'm going to try my best to follow his counsel. I'm grateful for the privilege of CHOICE that has been GIVEN to me. The Lord has blessed us with so much in this life so that we CAN BE HAPPY. I'm going to be happy, are you?

I'm grateful for Olivia. She is smart, funny, loving, helpful, quick-witted and totally and completely in love with her daddy. She says so many things that keep us laughing. She's a fantastic big sister who adores her 'baby Tagen.'

Heavenly Father knew that one way we'd find pure joy in this life is by being parents. Our children teach us so much about ourselves, life and the love our Heavenly Father has for each of us. I'm grateful for the joys, challenges and every experience that comes with being a parent to both of my girls.

I'm going to try to post a picture a day from my life. Something little to remember my blessings each and every day. Maybe it'll help me be more grateful for all that I have been given in this life.

I'm grateful for the wonderful world we live on and for the beauty that is all around us.
