"Give the gift of love to someone in need." Funny you should say that... Around noon today (Christmas Day), we headed up Cedar Mountain in hopes of seeing some deer, elk, or other wildlife to photograph. On the way, we took a detour over to Navajo Lake to show Bri's boyfriend what it looked like. (We had plans to ice fish there in the morning.) Well, a ways off the road was a Ford Explorer, completely high centered and very stuck in the middle of the road. Some very thankful people from North Carolina were happy to see us and our four-wheel drive vehicle. Two and a half hours later, we got them out. They were REALLY stuck! They thanked us for being an answer to their prayers! It reminds me of a quote from our visiting teaching message this month by Pres. Uchtdorf "...the number of prayers we say may contribute to our happiness, but the number of prayers we answer may be of even greater importance." Listen closely and you may be the answer to someone's prayer! Merry Christmas to you, too!
The idea behind this blog came about from President Eyring's talk in General Conference. He asked that we take the time each day to write down the ways we had recognized God's hand in our lives. In doing so, we will be more grateful and even more blessed.
This is my effort to do so....
Because my family is one of my greatest blessings, there will be a lot of pictures of them. Please forgive my indulgence and Enjoy.
