I love History.
I love looking at old things and wondering what "memories"
they have accumulated and helped create.
Who used to drive this old truck? Was it used for work? For fun? What views has this old truck seen? Where has it been? There are so many lessons we can learn from history. I need to remember to write down my history more and to study the history of my ancestors so it's not forgotten forever.

How funny! I do that with old cars, too. I often look at older people and wonder some of the same things. It's scary for us when the elderly die because there goes a whole lot of history that probably isn't written down! I teach about the Holocaust/WWII in school, and there are not a lot of survivors (Holocaust) left. One day there won't be any!! Scary thought...
