Day 28

© 2009 Carrie Morris

I'm grateful to have a body that works well,
that functions normally and that is aging.
I want to enjoy each and every moment I have
on this earth and in this body.
I want to experience life through all different ages.
I want to grow old.
I think wrinkles are life's experiences etched on a person.
I want to have a long life that will give me lots of wisdom, character,
and experiences. I want to see my posterity grow up.
I want to sit on my front porch in my rocking chair with Brad
at my side and watch the world go by.
I want to have the opportunity to grow old.

I look forward everyday to reading this. You could take each of these entries and make one of those cool, small sized inspirational books. I've seen some just like it, but yours are better! May I write about this site on my blog??

Great pic Carrie.
I think Annette is onto something there.
You should investigate it.
I'd buy it.
You could do 365 for each day of the year.

Carrie, these are some great pictures and what a great one of Grandpa Sherm!

Annette is right. You could do a 365 day quote or inspiration book with these photos. Look into that! :)

This made me tear up a little because I was sitting yesterday fearing growing old. I don't know...I still have mixed emotions.

I'm looking at 55 years in December, and I love growing old. I love my wrinkles and my age spots because they remind me of my mother and my Gma Nelson, both women I love dearly. I love being old enough to be heard because I've "been there and done that"! You will enjoy growing old, too, because it comes one day at a time. Take pictures with your heart because these are the pictures that come back to you when you are old. Hugs!
