Day 31

© 2009 Carrie Morris

"Alone time" is good for one's soul.
I like to take time to be alone. It is therapeutic and calming.
It is a good time to pray, meditate or think about life.
It's a perfect time to listen for long sought
answers from my Heavenly Father.
I need to try to get my "alone time" more often.

Where did you find this perfect pic?
Wonderful.
Alone time is difficult.

I remember trying to grab alone time by locking myself in my bathroom or bedroom and two little boys pounding on my door begging to be let in. Those were the days......I don't know how I kept my sanity.

You are so blessed to have a wonderful husband to take the girls and give you that healing time away. Nine years of not having it and I really cherish it now.

Love the picture! Where is that? Bear Lake?

Melissa, that's a great picture, huh? She took that on our trip to Bear Lake in Sept. She's getting pretty good with the whole photography thing. EVERY single picture on this blog is one that she personally took. Pretty cool huh? That's my wife!

I remember looking out at the lake and seeing the sailboat. Perfect Carrie!

Alone time: what a precious commodity--almost rarer than gold (we have our wedding rings, you know) for the young mother. But how refreshing when we do get it.
